Teamsters VIP+
The Teamsters VIP+ Plan is comprised of three separate benefit options, all of which are designed to provide US-based Teamsters the ability to protect their hard-earned incomes. Benefit options include Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability and Life Insurance with AD&D (includes Spouse and Child coverage options). These benefits offer crucial financial security for members unable to work due to injury, illness, scheduled surgery, or death. Both Short-Term and Long-Term Disability options are customized to include specific protections for members holding CDLs, FAA certifications, or other specialty licenses, to safeguard against a loss of license due to medical conditions. Members are encouraged to visit www.TeamstersVIP.com for more information about the VIP+ Plan or to enroll in its Disability and/or Life benefits without any medical examinations or health questionnaires. Enrollment is open year-round allowing members flexibility, with new coverage effective dates every two months. A member's coverage effective date is determined by when he or she enrolls, and to secure coverage beginning April 1st, members must enroll by March 25th.
